Online weight loss coaching is a service offering people with weight or fat loss goals full support and instruction on the process of weight loss. That might sound a little cold and detected, and the reality is a close relationship between the coach (me) and the client (you).

Regardless of how much knowledge and experience you have or don’t have with dieting and weight loss, I’ll tell you exactly how weight loss works, but more importantly exactly what you need to do to get the result you want.

There are tons of benefits to having a weight loss coach in your corner as opposed to ‘going it on your own’, one of the key one being accountability. One of the biggest things people struggle with when it comes to weight loss is staying consistent, if you have no one to answer to but yourself, you’re unlikely to stay on track long term. The fact that you’re paying for a coach will also add that element of urgency – after all, if you’re not paying then what’s the rush right?

You might also be considering a face-to-face personal trainer in the gym, while personal trainers will be able to help with your exercise plan and shout at you for an hour while you jump around, just getting sweaty and out of breath in the gym might get you fitter, but it doesn’t guarantee weight loss. You need to be eating fewer calories than you use each day, so you need a much bigger focus on your diet – you won’t get that with an offline PT.

SUPPORT

If you go it alone, you’ll have no support. If you use an in-gym PT, you’ll have support for an hour or two a week (if you do 1-2 sessions), if you use an online weight loss coach, you’ll have round-the-clock support whenever you need it.

Weight loss isn’t just about knowing you need to ‘eat less and move more, it’s about knowing what to do at specific moments. For example, what if you’re out at a restaurant and you don’t know which the healthiest choice is – a weight loss coach can help with that, a personal trainer can’t!

Weight loss is a result of all the small decisions you take and the habits you create day-in day out, which is why you need continuous support.

ACCOUNTABILITY

As mentioned, if you have no one to answer to, then are you really going to stay on-track consistently? 

You might be able to for a few weeks, but significant weight loss takes a lot longer than a few weeks. You need someone to check-in on you and keep you on track.

The fact is most people simply can’t trust themselves or don’t have the willpower to do something difficult long term. A weight loss coach will be on your back if you’re off-track, and your biggest cheerleader when you do things right.

AFFORDABILITY

This is a big one. 

Many people see gym-based personal training as affordable and will happily pay upwards of ÂŁ40 per session for a PT.

If you’re trying to learn exercise techniques (squatting, benching, deadlift etc) then a good PT is essential. Similarly, if you’re brand new to the gym and need someone to show you to use the equipment then a PT is a must.

However, if you’re just trying to drop a bit of weight like most people are, then you definitely don’t need to pay a PT £40 per hour while you jump around burning calories. Think about it, if you did two sessions a week that works out at £320 per month. Just to burn some calories. You’ll likely eat back those exercise calories anyway, which means money is down the drain.

Working with an online weight loss coach like me will make you pay attention to your nutrition which is what will really make the difference, and it only costs ÂŁ99, less than a third of the cost of two PT sessions a week.

EDUCATION AND INFORMATION

I’ll tell you what to do, but I’ll also tell you why you’re doing it.

You might not care, but knowing how weight loss works will enable you to achieve sustainable weight loss that lasts forever, not just the time that you’re working with me.

Weight loss is an incredibly simple process, but it’s not easy – and that’s where I come in. Once you work with me and you know the process works, you’ll also know HOW it works, and you’ll be able to use the tactics I teach you forever.

A BETTER RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD

 You’ve probably tried cutting out whole food groups before. Carbs? Fat? I bet you’ve tried it.

I bet you’ve even completely cut out foods you love like Pizza, or wine, or chocolate.

You don’t need to do that. No food is ‘bad’ or ‘unhealthy’, and you can actually eat whatever you want provided you’re in a calorie deficit.

Of course, there are foods that will make the process of dieting easier, but you certainly don’t NEED to eat anything specific (don’t worry Kale isn’t on the plan), and you don’t NEED to cut anything out (yes you can still eat Pizza).

All my clients will receive a free healthy recipe pack with loads of nice meal ideas. You don’t have to use it but it’s there for you if you want it!

ACCESSIBILITY

If you work with a gym-based PT, you’ll only speak to them when you’re paying them.

With my 1:1 and group plans, you’ll be able to reach out to me whenever you have a question or need support. Whether it’s via email, WhatsApp, voice note, or your monthly Zoom call (on the 1:1 plan).

HABITS FOR A LIFETIME

The key thing that will allow you to lose weight consistently and keep it off is forming habits. Habits like weighing yourself first thing in the morning on a daily basis.

Habits take a long time to form but once they become ingrained they’ll become second nature, and you’ll do them on autopilot

Once you’ve done working with me and galvanizing these habits, you’ll have them as part of your arsenal forever, meaning that once you stop working with me, you’ll be able to manage your weight much more easily.

Although the majority of people that want online weight loss coaching have one thing in mind; weight loss (go figure!), the benefits go way beyond this.
